This variation increases the difficulty of the game by requiring players to pay attention to fulfilling each contract's unique requirements in addition to forming sets & runs. Avoiding peeking at other players' cards & revealing details about your own hand with gestures or facial expressions are two crucial guidelines.
  • A player can declare Master Yono to end the round after all of their cards have been formed into sets & runs. The remaining players then tally up the points they have in their hands: face cards are worth ten points, aces are worth one point, and numbered cards are worth the value on their face. The person who called themselves Master Yono loses all of their points for that round, and the other players total the points they have. The player who finishes the game with the lowest overall score at the conclusion of a predetermined number of rounds is declared the winner.
  • After the top card is turned face up to begin the discard pile, the remaining cards are arranged face down in the center of the table to form the draw pile. Players may choose to take the top card from the discard pile or draw a card from the draw pile during their turn. They have to discard one card from their hand onto the discard pile after drawing a card.
