The draw pile is formed when the last few cards are dealt face down in the middle of the table after each player receives a hand of cards. Next, to create the discard pile, place the top card from the draw pile face up next to it. When it is their turn, players can choose to take the top card out of the discard pile or draw a card from the draw pile. Players draw a card, then select which card from their hand to discard, placing it on top of the discard pile.
