Michael Mizrachi

The 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) has officially concluded. It has taken 51 action-packed days to distribute all of the bracelets from the 100 live events, but the tables and chairs are being packed away, and the lights of the vast tournament rooms will likely have been turned off by the time you read this recap of the 51st day's play.

It doesn't take a genius to deduce that the biggest story of Day 51, if not the biggest story in poker ever, was Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi doing the unthinkable: winning the $10,000 WSOP Main Event during the same series where he won an unprecedented fourth $50,000 Poker Players Championship.

Mizrachi went into the final four of Event #81: $10,000 WSOP Main Event World Championship was a colossal lead. Any hopes of an upset were soon quashed when Mizrachi busted his three remaining opponents within 20 hands.

The victory awarded Mizrachi his eighth WSOP bracelet, a career-best $10 million score, and a last-minute, impromptu induction into the Poker Hall of Fame. What a day for the Floridian.

While Mizrachi was writing himself into poker's history books, Daniel Zack was busy helping himself to his fourth gold bracelet and another $471,170 in prize money. Although Zack considers PLO to be his weakest game, you would never know because he will forever be known as Event #96: $3,000 Pot-Limit Omaha champion.

Lukas Zaskodny - Winner - Event #97: $1,500 The Closer
Lukas Zaskodny

Lukas Zaskodny will soon fly home to the Czech Republic with his second bracelet and $648,130 in tow. Having won the €2,200 Pot-Limit Omaha event at the 2017 WSOP Europe in Rozvadov, Zaskodny came out on top in Event #97: $1,500 The Closer here in Las Vegas. The Czech grinder's latest victory takes his live tournament earnings past the $3.5 million mark.

Chad Eveslage - Winner - Event #98: $25,000 High Roller H.O.R.S.E.

Event #98: $25,000 High Roller H.O.R.S.E. also awarded its bracelet, and it went to another multiple-bracelet winner. Chad Eveslage first cashed at the WSOP in 2013 and didn't win his first bracelet until 2022, but he is now a four-time WSOP champion after coming out on top of this star-studded event. Eveslage has a deserved reputation for being one of the most fearless mixed game players. The bracelet from this event joins the ones he won in the $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller, $1,500 Dealer's Choice, and $10,000 Dealer's Choice Championship in 2022 and 2023.

Andrew Ostapchenko

California's Andrew Ostapchenko has been coming to the WSOP since 2016. Though he's racked up dozens of in-the-money finishes over the past decade, a bracelet had always eluded him…until now. Ostapchenko left it late this summer, but he is now the proud owner of a gold WSOP bracelet, having triumphed in Event #99: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em. It doesn't matter whether it was the faster structure (for a $5,000 buy-in) or that the stars simply aligned, Ostapchenko is finally a WSOP champion and deservedly so.

Mitchell Hynam

Last, but certainly not least, we have Mitchell Hynam, who got their hands on the 100th and final live event bracelet of the 2025 WSOP. Some 1,935 players bought into Event #100: Super Turbo before late registration slammed shut. Some 15.5 hours after the first cards were pitched, Hynam struck the fatal blow to Nadav Bitton and claimed a $237,924 top prize and their first bracelet.
